Ok……. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MAMACITAS BRAIDING SHOP! Patience was the one who did my braids (bohainman bob with human hair) the cost $240.00 you get the bang for you buck here. The people are nice and welcoming to all customers. These past two years I have been coming here and it been a great experience getting my hair done here. I had a great experience at this braiding salon! The staff was very welcoming and kind from the moment I arrived. My stylist was incredibly sweet and professional, and she completed my small knotless braids in about 5 hours, which was impressive. The braids were neat, clean, and beautifully done. I also appreciated the thoughtful gift bag at the end such a nice touch! I would definitely recommend this salon and will be returning.

I came to get my hair done for the first time and I had the pleasure of having Kemi do my hair and when I tell you, it was the best experience I had. From the wash and blow to my knotless braids. The convo was great, the atmosphere was awesome and she was very nice. I will definitely be coming back.

Today was the day I will not let anyone else braid my hair but MAMACITA herself. She not only has amazing shop of talented braiders but she also still braids herself and treats her clients like Queens, and makes them look even better. The look I got was the “Cassie Braids”, and I was skeptical at first because I never saw to many Africans do a weave, as one side is cornrows with weave on the other. Mamacita laid every braid to perfection, the parts was clean, and braids super neat. She did a great job on the weave also, and I continuously get compliments everyday and that it looks like my hair. I gave her a vision and she went above and beyond. The shop is clean, they are full service (wash and dry) but with an additional fee. They also played gospel, which kept it a calm relaxing experience. If you don’t have time don’t book with Mamacita, as she is a perfectionist, and wear your makeup ladies as she will get content for social media and has a whole production. She will ask if you give permission to record. If you get hungry in the shopping plaza is a grocery store, plenty of food options, including Dunkin’ Donuts, which is 5 min drive . Book the look, you won’t be disappointed. When booking be sure to choose Mamacita, but the others in the shop can also braid.

First-time customer and I traveled 1 plus hour after seeing so many TikToks and Instagram posts—and it was 100% worth it! I originally booked Small–Medium Bohemian Bob Braids (human hair), but because my hair was longer, it was upgraded to Small–Medium Bohemian Braids (human hair), mid-back length. I honestly thought I would be there all day, but I was pleasantly surprised. My appointment technically started at 9:00 AM EST, and I was completely finished by 1:40 PM—which is AMAZING for this style and length. Tene, my hairstylist, was so sweet, kind, patient, and FAST. She was extremely effective and efficient while still being gentle and professional. The experience was smooth from start to finish, and the results were beautiful. PLEASE put Tene on the booking site because I will absolutely be back because of HER. Highly recommend!
